I believe he's eligible to play Tuesday. Meaning they sit him for Chicago/Colorado and decide what the heck they do with him.

Wow. Sucks for the Jets. Can't even get rid of him for something useful in the playoffs. They will most likely get better value in the summer anyways.

EDIT: Although I guess a non contending team could still trade for him knowing he will be sitting out and recovering and be ready for next season
